How often do fire extinguishers need to be inspected? Fire protection equipment should be inspected on a regular basis to remain compliant and operational. Fire extinguishers require monthly visual inspections and annual certified service. Emergency lighting and fire alarm systems are typically inspected annually, with monthly owner checks recommended or required depending on the system. Kitchen suppression systems are commonly serviced every six months. Sprinkler systems may require weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual checks depending on the equipment installed.
What is included in a Facility Assessment? Our Facility Assessment ($79.99) includes a comprehensive walkthrough of your entire property, identification of all fire safety equipment, a code compliance review against NFPA standards and Ontario Fire Code, and a written report with a prioritized action plan.
Do you serve residential properties? Yes. We serve Multi-Residential properties including apartment buildings, condominiums, and rental homes. We also serve Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Healthcare, Fleet vehicles, Medical and Hospitality facilities throughout Southern Ontario.
How long does an inspection take? Inspection time varies by property size. A typical commercial space takes 1-2 hours. Some facilities may take a half or full day. Contact us directly and we will provide a time estimate when you book.
Are your technicians certified? Yes. All Alpha Team technicians are fully certified and licensed. Many are proud Canadian Forces veterans with extensive training in safety and compliance. We are fully insured and comply with all NFPA, Ontario Fire Code, and Building Code requirements.
